Market Position:-
              वित्त वर्ष 2016 की दूसरी तिमाही में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा का मुनाफा 88.7 फीसदी घटकर 124.5 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है। वित्त वर्ष 2015 की दूसरी तिमाही में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा का मुनाफा 1,104 करोड़ रुपये रहा था।वित्त वर्ष 2016 की दूसरी तिमाही में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा की ब्याज आय 4.6 फीसदी घटकर 3,244 करोड़ रुपये रही है। वित्त वर्ष 2015 की दूसरी तिमाही में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा की ब्याज आय 3,401 करोड़ रुपये रही थी।
              तिमाही दर तिमाही आधार पर जुलाई-सितंबर तिमाही में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा का ग्रॉस एनपीए 4.13 फीसदी से बढ़कर 5.56 फीसदी रहा है। तिमाही आधार पर दूसरी तिमाही में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा का नेट एनपीए 2.07 फीसदी से बढ़कर 3.08 फीसदी रहा है।
Indian Market Outlook:-
  • The Nifty down 84 points, or 1.05%, to close at 7955, the market continued its bearish short term trend and close below 8000.
  • The Sensex down 248 points, or 0.94%, to close at 26304 on Thursday; the index continued its weak trend as investors seems to be nervous ahead of exit polls.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched three gold related schemes- Gold Monetization Scheme (GMS), Gold Sovereign Bond Scheme and the Gold Coin and Bullion Scheme.
  • Pharma company Cipla’s July-September quarter consolidated profit shot up 44.4 percent year-on-year to Rs 431.2 crore on Thursday, driven by exports business but slow domestic revenue growth limited bottom-line expansion.
Global Market Outlook:-
  • Asian stocks were mixed on Thursday as investors debated anew whether the U.S. central bank will hike rates in December. The Shanghai Composite rose 1.68%, while the S&P/ASX 200 eased 1.06% and the Nikkei 225 rose 1.03%.
  • U.S. stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
  • Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen reiterated that a December rate hike could be on the table if the U.S. economy demonstrates continued improvement over the next few weeks.
  • The Bank of Japan board expressed worries that the recent drop in crude oil prices could delay 2% CPI and blamed firms for a slow rise in wages amid record profits.

Market Trend
               The market rallied smartly in early trade, reclaiming 8200 on the Nifty led by banking & financials, oil and technology stocks. The Sensex rose 274.91 points or 1.02 percent to 27120.72 and the Nifty rose 78.15 points or 0.96 percent to 8207.50. About 806 shares have advanced, 140 shares declined, and 29 shares are unchanged on the BSE. Vedanta topped the buying list on Sensex, up 3.66 percent. Hindalco, ONGC, Tata Steel, SBI, PNB and Cairn India gained 1.5-2 percent.
               Kishore Biyani's Future Group is all set to announce a tie-up with Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali. The former will get exclusively right to see the latter’s products in Future outlets like Nilgiris, Food Bazaar, Food Hall and Big Bazaar. Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) major Patanjali is no small fish in the market. The company has surpassed listed companies like Proctor and Gamble, Emami and Jyothy Labs in terms of annual revenue. With revenue of Rs 2,500 crore, its valuation goes up to a whopping Rs 14,000 crore. Patanjali Group is targeting revenues of about Rs 5,000-10,000 crore in the next few years. It also plans to launch new products including instant noodles, malted food and oral care.

  • Indian mkts ended downside. Nifty and Sensex down by 0.59% and 0.70%
  • Asia Pacific market mixed. Jakarta up by 0.10% & Nikkei down by 1.00%.
  • Wall St. up. USD Core Retail Sales down to 0.1%. Dow future down by 35 pts.
                   Indian indices remained volatile and closed on negative note amid global cues. On sectorial front all major indices traded downside including, Infra, FMCG and Realty except Metal Sector up by 0.54%. Sensex was down by 190 points at 26845 & Nifty down by 48 points to settle at 8129 level. European markets traded mixed.
Indian Rupee Update
The Indian rupee gained past 65 a dollar in early trade on Friday. It has opened higher by 15 paise at 64.90 per dollar versus 65.05 Thursday.We see the range for today between 64.70-65.50/dollar

Live Stock Cash Tips & Opening Bell News



After the deep cut seen on Thursday, the market has opened marginally higher today. The Sensex is up 33.58 points at 27635.59 and the Nifty is up 9.10 points at 8302.00. About 400 shares have advanced, 164 shares declined, and 26 shares are unchanged.
Hindalco, Tata Power, Infosys, BHEL and Bharti Airtel are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Tata Motors, Dr Reddy's Labs, GAIL, HDFC and Sesa Sterlite.
The Indian rupee opened lower by 11 paise at 62.44 per dollar against 62.33 Thursday.

Stock Market Closing Report –Nifty ends below 8400



Markets sold off in late trade, with the Nifty falling below 8,400 while the Sensex tested the 28,000 mark, before closing above it.
At close, the Sensex was down 0.46 percent, or 130 points, to 28,032 while the Nifty was off 0.52 percent, or 44 points, to 8,382.
The sell-off was largely broad-based but stocks that had run-up the most recently fell the most.
High-beta shares such as metals and oil & gas witnessed 1 percent plus down move. Mid and small cap stocks have 0.6 percent. Logistics shares, which have risen manifold over the past one year saw ferocious selling, with stocks losing 6 to 10 percent. FMCG and IT were the only pockets that stood up in the decline.

BSE Sensex, Nifty Edge Higher to Record Highs
Indian shares opened steadily higher, as bulls appeared to be buying shares with renewed vigour after a day’s consolidation. The BSE Sensex was up 0.30 percent, or 74 points, to 28,237 while the NSE Nifty opened 0.17 percent, or 14 points, higher to 8,442. As has been the script since a few days, the action has been in broader market with mid and small caps rising 0.54 percent and 0.65 percent. Sugar stocks were in focus early amid hopes the government would announce export sops. In individual stocks, SBI hit a 52-week high, 0.5 percent higher to Rs 2,960.
