Live Stock Tips – Sensex, Nifty open on Higher Note

The market has opened on a higher note. The Sensex is up 99.61 points at 27471.45, and the Nifty is up 29.80 points at 8255.00. About 437 shares have advanced, 166 shares declined, and 31 shares are unchanged.

 Sesa Sterlite and Bajaj Auto are up 2 percent each. HDFC Bank, Tata Power and SBI are other gainers in the Sensex. Hindalco, ITC, Cipla and HUL are among the laggards.

The Indian rupee opened flat at 63.30 per dollar against 63.29 Friday. The euro is at fresh two-year lows in a subdued start to a holiday-shortened week, extending a multi-month trend of weakness against the dollar.

Stock Trading Tips— Sensex Soars 250 Points

The BSE Sensex surged over 250 points on Friday as tailwinds from the US Federal Reserve's dovish stance on interest rates drove stocks for a second consecutive session. The 50-share Nifty marched towards the key 8,250 level, rising nearly 70 points.

Banking stocks extended gains as bond yields weakened. IT stocks outperformed today after tech giant Accenture raised its full year revenue guidance. Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and HCL Tech traded with over 1 per cent gains in morning trade.
Sesa Sterlite was the top Nifty gainer, rising over 2 per cent. Asian Paints jumped 1.5 per cent as crude oil prices continued to edge lower.

The rupee also rose to 63.05 per dollar per dollar. up 6 paise compared to previous day's closing value of 63.11 a dollar

Live Stock Market Closing News— Sensex gains over 416 pts

The market took home massive gains on Thursday. The Sensex ended up 416.44 points or 1.6 percent at 27126.57. The Nifty was up 129.50 points or 1.6 percent at 8159.30. About 2165 shares have advanced, 695 shares declined, and 97 shares are unchanged.

BHEL was up 5 percent, while Hindalco, ICICI Bank, GAIL and Maruti gained 4 percent each. M&M and Dr Reddy’s Labs were losers in the Sensex.

Today’s Stock Trading Tips –Nifty below 8050, Sensex weak;

The market has opened on a weak note. The Sensex is down 50.39 points at 26731.05, and the Nifty slips 26.40 points at 8041.20. About 263 shares have advanced, 331 shares declined, and 23 shares are unchanged.

Sensex crashes 538pts, Nifty ends below 8100

Bloods spills on Dalal Street as bears go on a rampage. After a heavy selling day, the Sensex ended with a loss of 538 points or 2 percent at 26781.44. The Nifty closed below 8100-level, down 152.00 points or 1.8 percent at 8067.60. About 566 shares have advanced, 2312 shares declined, and 86 shares are unchanged.

Midcaps & smallcaps were slaughtered while banking stocks too were hammered down out of shape. Bank Nifty shed 3 percent while metals fell 4 percent. Only IT index was in the green with a gain of 2 percent.

 Sesa Sterlite, Dr Reddy's Labs, Hindalco, SBI and Tata Power were among the laggards. TCS, Infosys, Bharti Airtel were gainers in the Sensex.
