Indian Stock Market Closing News by Money CapitalHeight



After a volatile day of trade, the market ended on a flat note. The Sensex ended up 34.09 points at 27831.10, and the Nifty was up 14.95 points at 8355.65. About 1681 shares have advanced, 1255 shares declined, and 110 shares are unchanged. SBI gained 3.5 percent while ONGC, Tata Power, Tata Motors and Cipla were top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers were BHEL, GAIL, HUL, Bajaj Auto and L&T.

Morning Live Stock Tips & News – Sensex, Nifty open in red;



The market has opened in red amid global turmoil. The Sensex is down 25.40 points at 27771.61 and the Nifty is down 22.65 points at 8318.05. About 284 shares have advanced, 267 shares declined, and 31 shares are unchanged.
Bharti is up 2 percent while Dr Reddy's Labs, Wipro, Hero and ITC are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Tata Motors, SBI, Sesa Sterlite, GAIL and BHEL.
The Indian rupee opened with marginal loss of 8 paise at 61.96 per dollar versus previous day's closing value of 61.88 a dollar.

Stock Market Evening News – Sensex, Nifty, Midcap fall 1%;



Blood spilled on Dalal Street on Asian markets jitters. The Sensex was down 322.39 points or 1.1 percent at 27797.01 and the Nifty slipped  97.55 points or 1.2 percent at 8340.70. About 919 shares advanced, 2032 shares declined, and 92 shares were unchanged.
Both midcaps and smallcaps were butchered while infra, metals, oil and autos were hammered out of shape.Among the losers were Sesa Sterlite, ONGC, Tata Power, Bharti Airtel and NTPC. Dr Reddy's Labs, M&M,  Sun Pharma and HDFC Bank were major gainers in the Sensex.

Live Stock Tips & Stock Market Opening Bell News




Sensex, Nifty open flat;Sun Pharma &Ranbaxy jump 3%
The market has opened on a flat note. The Sensex is down 49.13 points at 28070.27 and the Nifty is up 1.05 points at 8439.30. About 313 shares have advanced, 264 shares declined, and 32 shares are unchanged.
Sun Pharma is biggest gainer, up 3 percent in opening trade while Ranbaxy too jumps 3 percent. Wipro, Infosys, TCS and Dr Reddy's are major gainers in the Sensex.
The Indian rupee opened marginally lower at 61.88 per dollar against previous day close of 61.83. The yen held onto sizable gains, having staged a broad short-covering rally as a big drop in oil prices hit global risk appetite.

Stock Market Closing Bell by Money Capitalheight



Sensex tanks 339 pts, Nifty ends below 8500
Profit booking continued for another session on Monday with the Sensex losing 338.70 points or 1.19 percent to 28119.40 and the Nifty falling 100.05 points or 1.17 percent to 8438.25.
The broader markets dropped too; the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices slipped 1.2 percent and 0.9 percent, respectively. About 1141 shares advanced and 1803 shares declined on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Infosys topped the selling list, down 4.84 percent followed by Sesa Sterlite, M&M, BPCL, Jindal Steel, Hindalco and TCS with 2.5-4 percent loss.
However, Coal India, ITC, Bharti Airtel, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement and ONGC bucked the trend, up 0.7-2.2 percent.
SpiceJet, Arvind, Alembic, BEML, NCC, Bombay Dyeing, Ashok Leyalnd, REC, Idea Cellular, Dish TV, JK Tyre and Crompton Greaves were top midcap losers, down 3-5 percent. However, Jet Airways, Pipavav Defense, JBF Industries, Suzlon and Sintex gained 3-10 percent.
