Current Market Position:-
The market has kickstarted the week lower. The Sensex is down 170.63 points or 0.7 percent at 24873.80 and the Nifty down 54.75 points or 0.7 percent at 7555.70. About 192 shares have advanced, 335 shares declined, and 66 shares are unchanged. GAIL, Hero MotoCorp, Maruti, HUL and Sun Pharma are top gainers while Tata Motors, TCS, M&M, ONGC and Axis Bank are among losers in the Sensex. The Indian rupee opened at a fresh two-year low at 67.09 per dollar. It is trading lower by 21 paise against Friday's close of 66.88.
Global Market Position:-
  •  Asian markets traded mixed on Friday, despite Wall Street's positive finish overnight, as record low oil prices weighed resources plays and China shares opened in negative territory as another top executive was reported missing by local media.  
  • Nikkei 225 gained 0.96%, while the S&P/ASX 200 fell 0.31% and the Shanghai Composite eased 0.84%.  
  •  The Dow Jones industrial average rose 82 points to 17574 the S&P 500 gained 4 points to 2052and the Nasdaq Composite added 22 points to 5045.
  •  The Chinese markets opened lower ahead of another series of economic data due on Saturday, including retail sales, industrial production, and fixed asset investment.

Indian Market News:-
  • Nifty future extended losses for fifth consecutive session Tuesday, tracking nervousness in global peers post sharp fall in crude oil prices in the previous session. Nifty future down by 80 points to close at 7728.
  •  The 30-share BSE Sensex ended down 219 points at 25310. The market breadth was very weak as about 856 shares advanced against 1901 declining shares on the BSE.  
  • Shares of Tata Motors gained nearly 2 percent intraday Tuesday on strong retail sales in November by its UK subsidiary and luxury car maker.  
  • Rating agency ICRA has downgraded the rating on the proposed Rs 750-crore nonconvertible debenture programme of Eros International Media Ltd citing concerns of parent company’s reduced financial flexibility and also revised outlook to negative from positive. ICRA said it has revised the the rating on Eros’ NCD programme to A+ from AA-

The market started week on a positive note tracking global cues. The Sensex rose 108.70 points to 25746.81 and the Nifty climbed 34.65 points to 7816.55.
The Indian rupee has opened flat at 66.70 a dollar on Monday against Friday's closing value.

 Weekly Indian Market Overview:-

  • Indian markets edged down. Sensex & Nifty down by 1.88% and 2.02%
  •  Wall Street ended flat. USD nonfarm payrolls (Nov) came 211k.
  • Asia-Pacific markets closed mixed. INR GDP stood at (Q-Q) 7.40% to 7.00%.
               Indian indices moved in minor bearish trend during the week on the back of weak global sentiments. Stocks on Wall Street rallied on Friday after strong jobs data made it almost certain the Federal Reserve would raise interest rates in two weeks. US stocks jumped more than 2%, with the Dow industrials and the S&P 500 posting their biggest gains in three months. All 10 major S&P 500 sectors climbed except the energy index, which fell after the OPEC failed to cap near-record output.
                Indian indices performed under pressure. Nikkei Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) fell to 50.1 point in Nov. from 53.2 in Oct. The Nov. reading is close to 50 points, which represent flat activities in the sector. Beside, services companies’ confidence in terms of outlook for the next 12 months dropped to the lowest level in 10 year owing to difficult economic condition and weak demand. FIIs pulled out Rs. 1745 Cr. From the Indian market on Friday. Investors from abroad have pulled out Rs. 4100 Cr. During the week.
                World markets trend moves mixed during the week. USA, Asian and Euro markets were consolidate on positive note during the week. DAX and CAC closed negative by 4.80% and 4.37% each. FTSE100 index went down by 2.15%; S&P 500 closed negative by 1.29%; NASDAQ were up by 0.29%. In Asian market Nikkei went down by 1.91%. HangSeng went up by 0.76% & KLSE went down by 0.87%. Jakarta was down.

Indian Market Outlook:-
  • Equity benchmarks 50 shares index Nifty ended negative on Wednesday due to fears of fed rate hike this month dampened the sentiments. Nifty future down by 72 points to close at 7890.
  • The 30-share BSE Sensex ended down 231 points at 25886. The market breadth was weak as about 1240 shares advanced against 1548 declining shares on the BSE.
  • Bhushan Steel, the country's largest manufacturer of auto-grade steel, surged 18% intraday on Thursday as a media report indicated that the company is likely to get Rs 3,000 crore through asset sale in Odisha.
  • India's economy will grow at 7.4 percent in the current fiscal, which will further improve to over 8 percent in 2016-17, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services projected on Thursday.
Global Market Outl0ok:-
  • European stocks were 0.4 percent higher and the euro was hovering near a 7-1/2-year low with Draghi expected to expand the European Central Bank's money printing programme later and cut its deposit rate again.
  • Asian shares were mixed on Thursday with U.S. nonfarm payrolls the key focus across markets generally braced for the Federal Reserve to hike interest rates this month for the first time in nearly a decade.
  • The Nikkei 225 fell 0.22%, while the S&P/ASX 200 eased 0.64% and the Shanghai Composite gained 0.60%.
  • The The Dow Jones industrial average fell 158 points to 17,729, the S&P 500 lost 23 points to 2,079 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 33 points to 5,123.
