Live Intraday Stock News & Tips



The market has opened on a flat note. The Sensex is down 27.49 points at 27800.95 and the Nifty is down 16.40 points or at 8417.25. About 340 shares have advanced, 246 shares declined, and 86 shares are unchanged.
Sun Pharma is down 5 percent while Bharti, Cipla, Dr Reddy's Labs and BHEL are among laggards in the Sensex. Among the gainers are L&T, Vedanta, Infosys, HDFC and SBI.
The Indian rupee opened flat at 63.80 per dollar on Monday versus 63.81 Friday. The dollar index mixed with month-end selling after a recent rally - dollar index at around 97 levels.

Sensex falls over 300 pts, Nifty below 8250; banks crack

 The Sensex is down 311.48 points or 1.1 percent at 27195.82 and the Nifty is down 113.95 points or 1.4 percent at 8211.30.About 332 shares have advanced, 465 shares declined, and 81 shares are unchanged.
GAIL, Coal India, Dr Reddy's Labs, Wipro and ITC are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Tata Motors, L&T, Vedanta, M&M and SBI. 
The Indian rupee slipped in the early trade. It has opened lower by 26 paise at 64.11 per dollar versus 63.85 Monday. US dollar rose against the euro on renewed worries over a Greek exit from the Eurozone. The dollar index rises to 95-mark.

Blood on Dalal-Street: Sensex dives 723 pts, Nifty ends below 8100
The Sensex ended 722.77 points or 2.6 percent down at 26717.37, and the Nifty plunged 227.80 points or 2.7 percent at 8097.00. About 599 shares have advanced, 2143 shares declined, and 158 shares were unchanged. 
Bharti Airtel was the only gainer in the Sensex. BHEL slipped 6 percent, followed by ICICI Bank, L&T, Maruti and NTPC.

Stock Market Opening Bell




The BSE benchmark Sensex fell over 150 points in the morning deals on the back of selling in IT and FMCG stocks.
The 50-share Nifty was trading below its psychological level of 8,250 on the back of losses in TCS, ITC, Infosys, L&T and Bharti Airtel.
The Indian benchmark indices have been facing the heat of selling pressure since quite some time now. The Sensex has fallen over 1,800 points in the last nine trading sessions while the Nifty is down 900 points (10 per cent) from its peak in March 2015.
Meanwhile, IT and FMCG stocks were among the worst hit in the morning deals. The BSE IT index fell 0.6 per cent on the back of losses in TCS, HCL Technologies, Wipro and Infosys.
Shares of Bharti Airtel fell over 1 per cent to Rs 391 after the company said that its net profit for the January-March quarter profit rose 30.5 per cent to Rs 1,255 crore, buoyed by a robust customer growth and rise in mobile data revenue.
